Policies & Fees

Helpful information about billing and privacy at the Helix Center.

At Helix, we value your time and partnership. Here are some important details to keep in mind about our policies and billing process:

  • Helix is out of network and does not work directly with any insurance companies at this time. Superbills separated by provider are provided weekly and contain all necessary information to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company. Please contact your insurance company to inquire about coverage and your out-of-network reimbursement limits.

  • Helix will also provide a detailed Good Faith Estimate of fees, services, CPT codes and provider information (NPI) on request.

  • On Mondays, the fee for all appointments held the prior week are charged to the credit card on file. After the charge, Superbills that correspond with that charge will be loaded into your secure client portal. A Superbill is not a bill, but is a document that serves as a receipt to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement or to submit an FSA/HSA claim. A Superbill does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company. We highly encourage you to contact your insurance company to discuss reimbursement rates prior to starting services with Helix Center. Helix can provide information regarding fees, services, CPT codes, and provider information (NPI) on request.

  • Due to the intensity of the program, short time frame, and therapist availability, rescheduling cannot be accommodated. Please reserve this time every week for therapy. Missed and Canceled appointments without a 48-hour notice will be charged at the regular rate.

  • As of January 2022, clients are entitled to be notified of the No Surprises Act, which protects clients from receiving surprise medical bills from out of network providers. The Helix Center does not participate in any insurance plans; and therefore is an out-of-network provider.

Helix is also required to provide all clients with a Good Faith Estimate of fees and services prior to your first appointment. All fees are detailed in the Financial Agreement portion of our intake paperwork. Helix will also provide all new clients additional information regarding fees, services, CPT codes, and provider information (NPI) on request.
